Tips for Families

Please eat before arriving. Although, there is a pretty fair menu selection the prices for a family can add up. You can enjoy a mini treat and just skip the larger items for a cheaper restaurant elsewhere. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Pack an umbrella, and a few water bottles in your bag or purse. Bring your own camera to create memories. They do offer pictures inside but they can be somewhat pricey.

We really enjoyed the walk-through/moving sidewalk section where you felt surrounded by the fish, turtles, sharks etc. Watching the diver feed the rays was pretty cool. Touching the rays in the interactive pool was really en...

It is a little on the small size but can't complain much because my family had fun. We're military so with the discount me and hubby paid $12 and our  3 yo was free. We've been here three times but if I had to pay full price I definitely wouldn't have come as much. We went in twice in July and once in August. Everytime we went it was a weekend usually Saturday or Sunday. In July it was packed but it was even worse in August. You can tell everyone was trying to do something fun before school started! Have some really nice exhibits. An interactive area for young children. You can pet the string rays and they have a touch pool with horseshoe crabs. They have a Dippin Dots stand which we had to get! This summer ...

Not too much to do or look at for the high price. Don't get me wrong the things that were there were nice but $50 for a family of 3 needs to take more than an hour. My son is 2 and he was not impressed. I'm glad it is September be...

I have to echo a lot of folks' sentiments about too much for too little. For $20 a person, you should take up AT LEAST 3 hours of my time. Think about it. At a movie theater you spend $7-10 for on average 2 hours of entertainment. Ripley's isn't a terrible aquarium, it's just you're to...

DON'T BOTHER GOING! This place looks grand from the outside ,so we had big expectations. We were done in 1 hour...we kept saying, "Is this it"? At first it was peaceful and quiet because we got there early and then, the kids in buses started to come...

The moving sidewalk wasn't moving and people hovered in the walk thru area.  Went w/wife on Honeymoon during a T-storm.  Would have had a better time dodging Lightning Bolts outside....

Pretty boring unless you are under 10! It is pretty small and does not have too many exhibits. I did enjoy the underwater tunnel and the jellyfish which are my favorite. There is a touch tank and I saw many kids super fascinated with s...
