Tips for Families

Go to Publix and stock up on snacks, drinks and food. Buy the refillable koosie cups, soda refills are only $1 and they are BIG cups. The cups work great for adult beverages too!

Tips for Families

The Vistana's grocery service was great for basics. You will need to rent a car in order to get around to the theme parks, and can stop for other groceries, etc. at numerous stores on the way to/from the Vistana. Maid service is only provided every few days, so be prepared to make beds, etc. I believe there is a washer and dryer in each room, so you can pack lightly and throw a load of laundry in every couple of days if you don't mind the extra effort.

Tips for Families

This resort is literally 1/2 mile away from Disney World it is perfect if you want a very short commute. We shopped at local grocery stores and cooked breakfast, lunches and most dinners at our condo which is a really good money saving tip for large families like ours.

Excelent resort full of amenities. Near to everything! 5-8 minutes to Downtown Disney, 10 to Downtown Celebration, 5 minutes to Orlando Premium Outlets. Near to restaurants, fast foods, pharmacies, etc....

Great resort with plenty of amenities!

We stayed here on a timeshare exchange. Everything was clean and well maintained. We always seem to have a problem when we stay somewhere of being put in a ground floor unit under extremely noisy floorboards above. The resort had no problem switching us to a second story unit (we were in the section that only had two story buildings) that was actually bigger than the original unit we were in. The room was a 2 bedroom, clean and roomy with a nice screened balcony. Three great pools were all within a few minute walk from our unit, as were the bbq grills. My 6 y.o. daughter had a great time in the pools - one had a slide, another a waterfall. Miniature golf was adjacent to one of the pool areas, along with a ba...

This was our second time at the Sheraton Vistana and we love it. We went both times with friends who are time-share owners. The units are incredible -- very spacious and clean, completely furnished and look as if they've been updated recently. We loved having a full k...

We stayed in the Courts Building 27. Across the road either way from two of the large pools on site. A few small ones were in beteween as well for those who wanted to be more secluded. One of the pools even had a handicap access chair in which I thought was excellent for those who may need it. As usual, the unit was nice & had just been renovated & all new appliances, beds etc. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils---although could use a few more items such as tongs & nicer set of knives. The gas grill stations were a very nice addition, we have stayed here many times & all that was available were charcoal grills. Although the grills did run out of gas, & it was at least 30 minutes before it woul...

Our family (my wife and I, her parents and our 7 year old son) just spent a week at the Sheraton Vistana Resort and I must say this is by far the finest time share property we've ever stayed at (I've had a time share for over 20 years). The suite we stayed at was absolutely amazing, large at 1280 square feet, and beautifully laid out and furnished. The purpose of the trip was to take our the family to Disney World, Universal Studios and Wild Animal Kingdom. Except for the rain due to Tropical Storm Debby during the first 4 days the visits were very enjoyable, except, of course for the huge crowds at this time of year. I stayed here almost 20 years ago and the resort has upgraded all the suites in all the uni...
