Family fun

Flag review

We went on a family vacation with the grandparents. Disney had a promotion that gave us free dining if funerary at a Disney resort. This made it worth staying here. The rooms are pretty basic. Nicer than a motel but not as nice as a hotel. The atmosphere is festive. There are a few little beaches on the grounds with hammocks. The two pools were fun. The one pool was geared toward little ones. A foot of water with fun little slides and a bucket that dumps water on you. My kids had a blast!!

Tips for Families

There are pirate themed rooms that any boy would love.

Pleasantly surprised

Flag review

My kids (age 5 & 8) had a great time here. My 8 year old was excited that he was tall enough to ride most of the rides. My 5 year old got to ride her first big roller coaster. The water park is also very fun. There is a really fun water ride where all 4 of us sat in a big raft and went down a slide. The park was also very clean. I had always heard it was dirty. We usually go to Busch gardens Williamsburg but kings dominion is much closer. We will definitely go to kings dominion again.

Tips for Families

Get a wrist band for the kids when you first go in. It tells you what rides your kids are tall enough for. This will save you the hassle of waiting in line for abridge your kid can't go on. Also, use the kid swap feature. If you have a child who can't go on a ride, just go up to the front and you can go on the ride while another adult watches the kids then the other adult can go on the ride while you watch the kids. The second adult goes to the front of the line instead of waiting.
