Perfect amusement park for kids under 10Flag review
We visited Dutch Wonderland for several years in a row while my children were very young (under 10). The park is geared towards toddlers and little kids having mostly kiddie rides and family rides. In addition to all of the rides, there is a great water park area with splash zones suitable for toddlers all the way up to big kids and some water slides for the bigger kids. They also have shows and performances like story time with the princess. The best part about Dutch Wonderland is that it is very affordable compared to most amusement parks, which is great if you've got little ones who may not want to stay all day. Parking is free and there are a number of local hotels and a campground near by.
Tips for Families
If you plan to spend the night in Lancaster, go to the park in the evening you arrive for free if you buy a full price admission ticket for the next day! It's a great way to spend more time at the park for no additional cost.
