Great all around!

Check in was smooth...didn't wait in line at all, got there on a Sunday. Walked around lobby and grounds for about 30 and bags were in room as soon as we got back. Had room with view of pool. Not noisy at all at night like some said, but we went in March so may be heavier traffic in hotter months. Room itself was spacious with separate vanity dressing area which was nice for semi private area. Everything was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. All the staff were very 'Disney' friendly. We tried the buffet Boma and as it had a great selection of regional foods of Africa it didn't have much out for the picky eater kids. But the server even said if we wanted something we didn't see for out child they were more than happy to make it for him. Major plus! The quick service dining was great but wish there was more of a selection as after a week choices got old quickly. Pool was very nice with the zero depth entry. Gives little ones ability to ease their way in. Very clean, didn't try water slide. Lots of towels and chairs available. Again this was March so not sure about summer months. Gift shop was great and they even had a 'grocery' in there for use which was great for things like Tylenol to even small containers of milk. Transportation to parks is great and wasn't a long wait...i think 20 mins was max one day and that was on a high peak day. **SIDE-NOTE: Just make sure you board buses by driver door and not through back door as we had a bad experience with a driver shutting doors on my son who got trapped inside as we stood outside banging on bus door. Wasn't aware we were supposed to board only through front since both doors open. Wasn't a huge deal, just scared my 3 year old. Had NOTHING to do with resort though. If you do Magical Express back to airport on way home, make sure you have confirmed time on the form they slip under your door. There was no time on ours and it was a HUGE deal to get us on a bus for the front desk agent. So make sure you have a time! Decor was amazing and staff was always there to make it a wonderful trip.

Tips for Families

Ship a box of items there before so less to pack. Bring ponchos from $1 store. (They are $12 in park) Go with dining plan if an option. Comfy shoes
